This charming desert oasis, surrounded by red golden sand dunes
and curiously shaped hills, has always been an important stop on
the caravan trail. Today it has become well known as “Garden
City”.
The Buraimi oasis, the amazing souk and the ancient Falaj or
irrigation system carry their own charm.
The heritage of the ancient people along with the archeological
Hili Tomb dating back ca. 5000 years are surrounded by a
marvelous botanical garden. The history of the Bedouins is well
displayed in the largest museum of the Emirates.
