The Appeal of Polo

“THE SPORT OF KINGS” a once in a life time experience.

Enjoy a perfect introduction to the world’s grandest and arguably most entertaining sport. Traditionally referred to as the “Sport of Kings” you can now experience the thrill and excitement of Polo for yourself. This ‘Once in lifetime experience’ is available with the Dubai Polo Academy at the exclusive Arabian Ranches Polo & Equestrian Club.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by one of the Academy instructors who will introduce you to your polo pony. All of the Academy ponies are responsive and obedient and allow even complete novices to progress quickly in this fun introduction to the game. Once you have mastered the basic riding skills you will be taught how to swing the small mallet and be given an introduction to the rules.
 

Following the tuition you will then have the opportunity to play in a ‘mini Chukka’ with other members of the group using a larger than normal size ball for more achievable result. At the end of the match all the players will be called up to the rostrum for the prize presentation to receive their individual and team awards.

By the time you leave you will actually be playing Polo “The Sport of Kings”.
