Sharjah is
an intriguing city of colorful souks, where the most interesting art
crafts can be found in every corner. The skills of the native jewelers
are on display in the gold souk. Beautifully maintained parks to
demonstrate the craftsmanship of the people, specially in the
renovated village and the fort near Al Bourj Avenue. Many monuments
stand in with its combination of the traditionally resorted houses,
the block of sea corals, the bright colors of the materials souks, the
exotic fruit and vegetable market and the open fish market.
Sharjah is a majestic fairytale city. This magic is also reflected in
the fascinating museum, housed in the newly renovated Fort of Ajman.

architecture & heritage in the UAE.
Souk Al
Arsah - beautifully restored old openair market, shops exhibit a wide
variety of novelties, gift items, antiques in wood, brass, silver,
traditional jewellery, miniature dhow-ship models and much more.
Heritage Museum- next to Souk Al Arsah, located in Al Naboodah House.

New Souk -
also called as Central Souk is the most famous souk in Sharjah with
around 600 shops selling everything from gold jewellery to electronic
appliences and from souvenirs to Persian carpets. Located by Khaled
Lagoon. Truly a magnificent show piece of Arabic architecture. Pearl
Monument- symbol of the UAE Federation, next to the New Souk. King
Faisal Mosque - the biggest mosque in the UAE, standing opposite
the New Souk.
Central
Roundabout - one of the most beautiful roundabout in the UAE with the
Quran as a symbol of faith in the center and around the Archeological
Museum, Cultural center, Ruler's office and "Pink mosque".
