As a Concierge you will be responsible for servicing our clients arriving to your assigned designated hotel. The main priority is to ensure that clients enjoy their holiday experience and that there stay within the destination is seamless.

About the Role

This position is a client facing position and is critical in the overall success of client’s perception of the company and in the excellent quality of service we provide throughout the duration of their stay. The role involves coordinating welcome meetings, handling complaints and resolving problems as and when they arise. You are also responsible for selling resort excursions and additional services. On occasions you will need to assist in meeting clients at the airport.

Areas of Responsibilities

  • Be informative and knowledgeable on the UAE as a destination when liaising with our clients
  • Responsible to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, hotels and clients
  • Processing of excursions sales for the clients
  • Organizing and hosting welcome meetings
  • Selling and organizing excursions and other activities for our clients
  • Responding to clients' queries (this may involve being on duty for set times each day
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the resort and the local area in order to answer clients' questions
  • Reporting system/payment collections
  • Handling Complaints our issues as they may arise with clients
  • Assisting the product department with new itineraries, new products and contents
  • Act as a representative of Desert Adventures when dealing with the Tourism Authorities and their representatives at the various museums, mosques, galleries etc.

Requirements & Skills

  • Education: Degree educated ideally within the Tourism/ Travel or Customer service field
  • Work Experience: 2 years in a similar role within the UAE
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Has the ability to negotiate and work against set goals and financial targets
