The Contracting Manager supports in the contracting of and negotiations with Hotels & suppliers. The role involves working with Hotels\Suppliers to negotiate rates and contracts with them, and therefore enabling them to offer their clients great deals. This is a very hands on role in a challenging and competitive environment - the role needs lots of energy and enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude.

Responsibilities

  • To support Destination Manager in creation and execution of the Contracting Plan and strategies and meeting agreed objectives
  • Analyze and report the hotel trends to the line management
  • Consolidate the Room nights/Revenue statistics from the team (contractors).
  • Run rate comparison on weekly basis (B2B) for our top key suppliers to ensure Desert Adventures is competitive in the market
  • Provide details market intelligence based on your discussions with the hoteliers (competitors/clients)
  • Negotiate special offers with our key partners (as per sales brief & requirements)
  • Define and understand the sales needs for a given market
  • Monitor the contractors in making sure the assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist the contractors for any clarifications regarding contracts or promotions before loading in Passion.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a relevant account management roles within the hotel or travel industry.
  • Has strong supplier connections in the industry and can easily open doors to new connections.
  • Excellent communication and negotiations skills.
  • Candidates residing in the UAE are preferred.
  • Knowledge of different markets modules is an added advantage.
  • Approaches challenges with a business-focused perspective and a positive attitude.
  • Pro-active, responsible, friendly, and able to work independently.
